Cat Calendar Cookie & Floofy are the poster cats for March 18, 1997

At the time, Amy was working for Dr. Chalkley at Southfork Animal Clinic in Murphy.  One day Dr. Chalkley noticed the photo entry form that was in the previous year's calendar and gave it to Amy, offhandedly telling her to enter a photo.  Amy had snapped this shot of our 2 siamese cats, Cookie and Floofy, who were up on top of a ladder that had been out to trim vines in the back yard.  Their blue eyes matched the blue sky and Amy thought it made an artful photo - although it was probably all a ploy to sell more calendars! 

Sohpie, Al and Precious October 1998 - Amy took an oil painting class at North Lake College and painted these pictures of Sophie and Al, and Cookie and Floofy. Sadly, we gave away the painting of Cookie and Floofy, so all that's left is this photo. :

Simon and Miles 2003 - Miles belongs to Uncle Ken but we cat-sat for a while, and he and Simon became lounging pals for a while

Precious is a sweet kitty we had in our family since we found her when Amy was taking Tennis for a college PE credit - and she kept bothering us on the tennis courts.  Shane is a purebred Abysinnian that Jay and Amy got from a breeder in the pre-kid days (and the only cat that we found as opposed to "finding us.")

Snowy and the Christmas Village December 2007 - Snowy can get confortable anywhere, and being deaf allows him to not be bothered by the Christmas Trains going by him...

Andy with Sonic the Ferret August 2006 - Andy saved his earnings all summer, so he and Mom went in together to buy our first ferret

Sparky & Sonic September 2006 - We added Sparky to keep Sonic company. They seemed to enjoy having their cage on the patio when the weather was nice.

Andy's Fish Tank This tank was Andy's Christmas present for 2007. The Fish came from Santa. Fun!
