Amy's family is originally from Wisconsin.  Our family trekked from Wisconsin to Texas in March 1984 (when AMy was 9 years old) with our green Ford car, silver AMC Renault and a U-Haul truck.  This was during the time when the TV show "Dallas" was a big hit and everyone was moving here it seemed!

Amy's  maternal grandparents had a farm in Ocomonowoc, Wisconsin, which is about halfway between Madison and Milwaukee.  Amy has lots of fun memories of visits as a kid - mostly about the kittens!  :)  The farm is still there, but the cows are gone, and Uncle Pete still grows crops there.

August 2000 - This tiny house used to belong to Amy's Dad's parents in the late 70s-early 80s. We tresspassed across the yard down to the lake when we visited in 2000, and it was nice to see that the house and the community are looking nice.
